Sarah Minto is the founder of SM Recruitment and brings over 15 years of experience in the recruitment industry, including 13 years at one of the North East’s largest national agencies.

Sarah has worked with some of the region’s best-known brands and fast-growing businesses, often supporting them over many years and placing multiple roles. She is especially known for her success in filling business-critical, hard-to-fill positions and for taking the time to truly understand the companies she partners with.

Before moving into recruitment, Sarah worked in marketing for a global manufacturing business, attending international exhibitions, giving her first-hand experience of the demands and pressures within commercial roles.

Based in Newcastle and originally from Darlington, Sarah is also a passionate member of the cycling community.

 

She competes in the cyclocross league, volunteers as a British Cycling Activity coach, and regularly takes on challenges, from Pyrenean Mountain climbs to the Three Peaks Challenge for charity. Whether in recruitment or in sport, Sarah is goal-driven, people-focused, and always working toward the next achievement.
