  • Develop and lead a commercial strategy focused on long-cycle, high-value deals

  • Manage, coach, and inspire a growing team of Business Development Managers and Sales Leaders

  • Design and implement best-in-class training and development programmes

  • Build and maintain strong senior client relationships

  • Collaborate with Marketing to drive pipeline growth and improve conversion

  • Identify new revenue opportunities and growth markets

  • Deliver accurate forecasts and market insight to the executive team

  • Represent the business at industry events and in strategic conversations

Person Specification

  • Proven experience in senior B2B sales or business development leadership

  • Background in SaaS, analytics, platforms, or enterprise-level technology solutions

  • Success in leading teams and delivering multi-million-pound targets

  • Skilled in managing long, complex sales cycles and navigating enterprise buying groups

  • Strong strategic mindset combined with a hands-on leadership style

  • Gravitas and credibility with senior stakeholders, internally and externally

  • Sector experience in regulated, asset-heavy, or complex B2B environments is a plus
