This is a relationship-led role where you’ll work with existing partners while also identifying new commercial opportunities. You’ll develop partnerships and campaigns across digital, print, events and insight, helping to drive revenue while delivering real value to independent retailers.

A key part of the culture is collaboration. You’ll work towards a shared team target rather than an individual sales target, with everyone working together to achieve the overall commercial goals.

• Build and develop strong relationships with existing commercial partners and suppliers.

• Identify and develop new business and partnership opportunities.

• Create commercially focused campaigns across digital, print, events and insight.

• Work collaboratively with the wider Business Development team towards a shared team revenue target.

• Provide a high level of account management and customer service.

• Understand clients’ objectives and identify opportunities to grow relationships and revenue.

• Work closely with Marketing, Communications and Finance to deliver campaigns and commercial activity.

• Attend industry events, trade shows and activations to build new and existing relationships.

• Coordinate partner sessions and activities to ensure effective delivery and engagement.

• Maintain accurate CRM records, reporting and campaign tracking.

Person Specification

• At least 2 years’ experience in sales, business development or commercially focused account management.
• A strong relationship builder who enjoys developing long-term client partnerships.
• Proven experience generating revenue and identifying commercial opportunities.
• Confidence approaching and developing new business.
• Strong negotiation, presentation and communication skills.
• Good commercial awareness and the ability to understand client needs and develop relevant solutions.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple relationships and projects.
• A collaborative approach and someone who enjoys working towards shared team goals.
• Willingness to travel across the UK when required.

Experience within FMCG, retail, media, events, advertising, sponsorship or membership organisations would be advantageous but isn’t essential.
