About the role
We are partnering with a well-established and growing organisation to recruit a Marketing Coordinator with a strong focus on trade and retail marketing. This is a varied, hands-on position supporting the delivery of marketing initiatives across retail environments, trade partners, and digital channels.
Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in supporting retail campaigns, trade activations, and ensuring brand consistency across multiple customer touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, create and schedule engaging content across social media platforms to support brand and retail campaigns
Work closely with trade partners and brand representatives to coordinate marketing activity and ensure alignment with retail objectives
Support the planning and execution of trade shows, exhibitions, and retail events
Attend events where required to capture content and support on-the-ground marketing activity
Assist in delivering retail marketing initiatives, including in-store displays, POS materials, and showroom updates
Coordinate the distribution and tracking of product samples, promotional materials, and campaign assets to partners and stakeholders
Create and upload website content to support product launches, promotions, and retail campaigns
Work with internal teams and external agencies (design, print, digital) to deliver marketing materials for retail and trade use
Collate and analyse marketing performance data, including campaign and social media metrics, producing regular reports
Support internal communications, including newsletters and updates on marketing activity
Monitor press coverage and ensure relevant exposure is shared internally and with partners
Oversee the marketing inbox, ensuring all trade and retail marketing requests are responded to efficiently
Person Specification
This role is ideal for someone with a passion for marketing within a trade or retail environment, who thrives in a collaborative setting.
Essential:
Previous experience in a marketing, retail marketing, or trade-focused role (or strong desire to build a career in this area)
Experience supporting campaigns across retail or partner channels
Strong understanding of social media and content creation
Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Confident communicator, both written and verbal
Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Desirable:
Degree or relevant marketing qualification
Experience working with retail partners, distributors, or multi-channel environments
Experience coordinating POS, in-store marketing, or merchandising materials
Familiarity with website/content management systems
Experience liaising with external agencies or supplier
